SOUNDS OF SUMMER WITH THE TSO!

The Tacoma Symphony has been seen and heard at several places around town this summer, including appearances at Tall Ships ® Tacoma and Life Center Church. Catch them next at the grand opening of Chambers Creek Central Meadow with very special guest Judy Collins.

August 9: Judy Collins & the TSO
Maestro Harvey Felder will conduct the TSO in a concert with the legendary Judy Collins at the grand opening of the new Chambers Creek Central Meadow outdoor concert venue.  The performance will include an opening solo set by folk-rock singer Jonatha Brooks.  The performance begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, August 9, followed by Ms. Collins and the TSO at 7 p.m.  The  performance is presented by the Broadway Center for the Performing Arts and Chambers Creek Foundation.General Admission seating is $50. Limited VIP seating is available for $85. The Tacoma Symphony Orchestra is regularly featured on 98.1 KING FM's Northwest Focus.

Northwest Focus airs on KING FM weeknights at 8:00 PM. It features performances by Northwest musicians and music groups and previews what's coming up on the classical calendar. In addition, performances by outside groups brought in by Northwest presenting organizations are featured.
